Alexandria

Located only minutes outside of Washington D.C., Alexandria exhibits many of Northern Virginia’s great historical, political, and cultural centers. Spend an entire day walking down the streets of Old Town Alexandria, exploring the boutiques and restaurants. Support local artists at the Torpedo Factory Arts Center, a former World War II munitions factory, and see the breathtaking views of the Potomac River. For the history buff, you can visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon while reading up on the history of the country. In addition to the great landmarks, Alexandria also houses one of the top public schools in America, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Alexandria has consistently been a highly rated community to live in and it’s only getting better.
